‘Looking 4 Myself’ Album from Usher
Usher Raymond is known as one of the flag carrier of the R & B song and album charts often perched in the world. The songs were typically slow clock may still be one of the flagship song in your playlist, such as’ You Make Me Wanna … ‘,’ U Remind Me ‘,’ Burn ‘,’ Can You Help Me ‘,’ U Got It Bad ‘, and myriad others.
Indeed, the album ‘Raymond vs. Raymond “(2010), mostly talked about his divorce from Tameka Foster got a wide range of criticism. It could be said not explode when compared to the album ‘My Way’ (1997) or the ‘Confessions’ (2004). However, his new album ‘Looking 4 Myself‘ (2012) is like a process of re-search for identity.
A small part of the song is still following the trend of today’s trance-pop, with the rain brings a very European-sounding synthesizer, such as ‘Can not Stop Will not Stop’ and ‘Scream’. The rest, Usher took some famous names to sew character was adopting R & B with lots of other genres and ultimately create a lot of songs are varied, interesting to observe.
His collaboration with Pharrell Williams produced ‘Twisted’ is shades of funk and hip-hop. Meanwhile, when he was working with Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson and Empire of the Sun at ‘Looking 4 Myself’, the result track that sounded very similar to the ‘Walking on a Dream”s Empire of the Sun, but the more unique and sweet because here Usher sang very melodious. However, modern arrangements and pretty much different from the R & B sound is perfect sung by him.
One song that is very surprising is the last track titled ‘Euphoria’ which was produced by Swedish House Mafia. Here Usher sang songs electro house wrapped in nan majestic arrangements, and full of synthesizer that bind many parts of the song. Again, a touch of a new character for Usher. Beat the game its very fun to be enjoyed.
‘Looking 4 Myself‘ album can be regarded as a successful experiment, because the success gives the variation of the various possibilities. And most importantly, Usher characters can be more ‘play’ and create exciting new shades.
