Ex-Motorhead guitarist dies

Former heavy metal band Motorhead, Wurzel, died on July 9, 2011, of a heart attack.

Wurzel whose real name is Michael Burston allegedly died of a heart attack when she was pouring drinks with a smile. Legendary guitarist was known as a humorist.

61-year-old guitarist from Cheltenham, Gloucs, England, and joined by Motorhead in 1984, then left the band in 1995. After that, he chose a solo career. Two managed to release a solo album titled Bess (1987) and Chill Out Or Die (The Ambient Album) (1998).

In the course of his career, Murzel also briefly became a soldier and the duties that he was nicknamed as Worzel Gummidge, which means that the scarecrow as a thick West Country accent. Since then Murzel became his nickname.

He has donated nine albums for Motorhead. Murzel also always been the idol of the fans of Motorhead as a witty demeanor. This contrasts with the nature of the vocalist Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister ‘a bit stiff.

Wurzel died after tomorrow, Motorhead perform at Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth, England. Said Lemmy, Motörhead appearance at the event to commemorate the late Wurzel.
