Apparently not. Jen sell his house because he wanted to celebrate the 42nd birthday in a simple way. After the house was sold, a widow without children would be moved to New York to stay at home much simpler.
Jen’s house was purchased in 2006 costing USD13, 5 million. He spent more than two years to renovate it. He then moved in 2009, shortly before his 40th birthday.
“My life is really messy. I really need to simplify my life. And over the course of time, I decided to sell the house that I have now,“ said Jen.
New York became the new destination Jen because there where he grew up. He dreamed of moving from Los Angeles to New York.
“I grew up there (New York). I miss that place. There‘s nothing like the city. I loved it,“ said Jen.
