Madonna plans to open an orphanage in Malawi for 1,000 children, while providing financial assistance.
The singer is adopting Mercy (6) in 2009 it wanted to redouble efforts to help children orphaned by opening a new orphanage and provide financial support.
“My short term goal is to build an orphan care center that will serve and reach at least 1,000 children. I am also actively involved in funding some existing orphanages,” said Madonna.
Star 52-year pledge to build an academy which will adopt another child following the project $ 3, 8 million which will be inserted through the Raising Malawi charity.
Madonna also has a biological children Lourdes (14) and Rocco (10) claimed frustrating to see the construction of school due to lack of education in the country.
“There is a real education crisis in Malawi. As many as 67 percent of women did not go to school. Our team will work hard to resolve this issue in any way we can,“ his determination.
