The autopsy showed when metal rock band Slipknot bassist died of an overdose of the unintended result of using morphine and fentanyl, morphine or synthetic substitutes.
As is known, Paul Gray, 38, was found dead in a hotel room on the outskirts of Des Moines, Iowa, USA on 25 May. A hotel worker told the 911 operator that the syringe and pills found near Gray’s body was also found inside the room. Urbandale Police say when the autopsy showed Gray died of an overdose. They also said an autopsy showed signs of significant heart disease.
In addition, police spokesman Sgt Dave Disney said that if there is no evidence to suggest that prescription drugs have been found to Gray. Police also are trying to find out how Gray got it. “There is no evidence that the doctor prescribed one of these substances” .
As information, Gray was known as one of the founders of the band who always wears a mask in every concert. Paul Gray was born in Los Angeles, California. His family later moved to Des Moines, Iowa. Gray started his musical career as a member of bands such as Anal Blast and Vexx.
He was one of three founding members of Slipknot to remain in the lineup the band recently shared with Shawn Crahan percussion player and drummer Joey Jordison.
