The Hunger Games Was at The Top of Box Office

The Hunger Games movie again topped the box office for three consecutive weeks. The film also managed to achieve gains of up to USD302, 8 million or approximately Rp2, 8 trillion in just 17 days since its release in America. The film adaptation of the famous novel was able to beat Titanic and American Reunion.
The second position is occupied by American Reunion of acquiring profit USD21.5 million after it was launched last week. Phenomenal movie made in 1997 3D, Titanic won the third position with a profit USD17.3 million. The amount is smaller than the other advantages of 3D movies like The Lion King, and Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
Not only that, but also the annual event of the MTV Movie Awards 2012 will be held. The film is adapted from the novel The Hunger Games, and adult comedy Bridesmaids, leads with eight nominations. Both films are competing in the category of “Movie of the Year” along with the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, The Help, and The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part I.
In addition, the competing actors nominated “Best Male Performance” is Josh Hutcherson in the film The Hunger Games, Daniel Radcliffe in her role in Deathly Hallows II, Joseph Gordon-Levitt for his role in the film 50/50, Ryan Gosling in the movie Drive, and Channing Tatum in the film The Vow.
In the nomination “Best Female Performance”, a woman who is ready to compete actress Jennifer Lawrence is in his role in the film The Hunger Games, Kristen Wiig Bridesmaids in the film, Emma Stone in the film Crazy, Stupid, Love, Emma Watson in Deathly Hallows II films, and Rooney Mara in the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011).
MTV Movie Awards (MMA) in 2012 will be held on June 3, at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Universal City.
