U2 Concert for John Lennon

8DXLq4ZFPeTo mark the 30th anniversary of death of John Lennon December 8 last, the band U2 sang the songs of the Beatles in concert in Australia.

Incidentally their concert at Suncorp Stadium, Australia coincided with the date of death of John Lennon and the Irish rocker was also told his fans, that they never forget the tragedy that befell the former Beatle.

After finishing the song Beautiful Day, Bono immediately announced to the audience that the next song is In My Life Beatles property.

Then U2 also sang a number of other Beatles hits such as Rain, Dear Pridence and All You Need Is Love. Bono also sang Stand by Me Ben E King’s property which has also been released by John Lennon.

In addition, they also brought Pride (In the Name of Love) as a U2 tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr..
